Friends of Lake Olbolossat Foundation (FLOBF) is environmental conservation NGO dedicated to protecting and restoring Lake Olbolossat and the wider Aberdare ecosystem in Nyandarua County, Kenya.

Our work is built on the belief that conservation succeeds when communities are empowered to become active guardians of their environment.

Our Journey

2009

Foundation Established

FLOBF began as a community initiative committed to protecting Lake Olbolossat and restoring its surrounding environment.

2011

NGO Registration

The organisation was officially registered as an NGO, enabling stronger partnerships and wider conservation programmes.
