Friends of Lake Ol’Bolossat Foundation (FLOBF) is an environmental conservation NGO dedicated to protecting and restoring Lake Ol’Bolossat and the wider Aberdare ecosystem in Nyandarua County, Kenya.

Foundation Established
FLOBF began as a community initiative committed to protecting Lake Ol’Bolossat and restoring its surrounding environment.
NGO Registration
Officially registered with the NGOs Co-ordination Board of Kenya, enabling stronger partnerships and wider conservation programmes.

Our Approach
Conservation Led By Community
We believe lasting change happens when the people who live alongside Lake Ol’Bolossat lead the work of protecting it. From tree nurseries to farmer training and school programmes, every initiative is built together with the communities of Nyandarua County.
